Resident of Lawton, Okla.; b. Dera Newkumet in Weatherford, Tex.; m. John J. Schott in 1909 in Norman, Okla., and later moved to Lawton; operated insurance office in Lawton from 1929-1939; after death of her husband (1943) worked for state tax commission in Oklahoma City where she was employed for 15 years. Their son, John E., continued working in the Lawton office and dealt with real estate in the 1950s. In March 1964 Dera Schott moved back to Lawton and died in June of that year. F...
